I Tried the Cincinnati 5-Way Sausage

And I want you to know that it is awesome.

A few weeks ago, I went to Findlay Market’s Premiere Sausage Destination™, LK, on a trip to the market with the family, the “cuzzies” and their extended family from down under who were visiting for a few weeks.

LK makes amazing sausages, but when I saw the Cincinnati 5-Way Sausage, I had to try it. Would this concept—cincinnati chili, spaghetti, onions, cheese, and beans—even work?

I am here, reader, to tell you that it does work. And the end result is exactly what you expected, except only more awesome.

I only bought one of these bad boys, but after this experience, it’s going to be a matter of how many pounds I am buying.

Admittedly, the atypical sausage is a little difficult to cook. Be patient and use a meat thermometer!
